4. Mobile Information and Text Messaging

This section describes how we treat your mobile phone number and your consent to receive text messages. It applies in addition to, and overrides any conflict with, every other section of this policy.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Sharing with subcontractors or service providers strictly to support the services you requested, for example the messaging platform that delivers our texts on our behalf, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We never sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing use, under any circumstances.

4.1 Types of messages you may receive

Hurricane Safety Program LLC sends two categories of text message, and you consent to each one separately:

– Service messages about a request you made, including assessment scheduling, appointment confirmations and reminders, inspection, permit and installation status updates, document and signature requests, and two-way replies from a member of our team.– Promotional messages, where you have separately agreed to receive them, including offers, pricing, and information about home upgrade programs.

4.2 Message frequency

Message frequency varies depending on how you interact with us and the status of your project.

4.3 Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. These charges come from your mobile carrier, not from us. Contact your carrier for the details of your plan.

4.4 How to opt out and get help

Reply STOP to any text message from us to cancel at any time. After you reply STOP we will send one confirmation message and will not send you further messages from that program. To rejoin, reply START or sign up again on our website. Reply HELP to any message for assistance.

4.5 Consent is optional

Consent to receive text messages is optional. It is never a condition of buying any product or service from us, and consent to service messages is never treated as consent to promotional messages.

4.6 Consent records

When you provide your mobile number and opt in, we keep a record of that consent, including the date, the time, the page or form used, your IP address, and the exact language you agreed to, for as long as required to demonstrate compliance with applicable law.

Our full text messaging program terms, including supported carriers and carrier liability, are set out in the SMS Terms of Service section of our Terms and Conditions.

5. How We Share Information

We share information only in the situations below.

Service providers and subcontractors. Companies that perform services for us: licensed subcontractors who perform work at your property, scheduling and customer relationship platforms, messaging and email providers, hosting providers, and payment processors. They may use your information only to perform services for us, and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.

Financing partners. If you choose to apply for financing, we send the information needed to process your application to the independent lender you select. That lender handles your information under its own privacy policy and is not controlled by us.

Advertising and analytics providers. We work with providers who help us measure and improve our marketing. They may receive information about how you interact with our Site and our ads.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information where we believe in good faith it is necessary to comply with law, respond to a lawful request from public authorities, enforce our Terms, protect our rights or property, prevent fraud, or protect anyone’s personal safety.

Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction. We will give notice before your information becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.

One exception applies to all of the above, without qualification: mobile phone numbers and text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from every category of sharing for marketing or promotional purposes, and are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing use. See Section 4.
