These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this Site, your submission of any form on it, and your participation in any communication program we offer, including our text messaging program.

By using this Site, submitting a form, or opting in to receive communications from us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this Site.

In these Terms, “Hurricane Safety Program,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean the operator of this Site. “You” and “your” mean any person who visits the Site or uses our services.

2. Who We Are — and Who We Are Not

Hurricane Safety Program is a private company offering home improvement services to Florida homeowners, including roofing, impact windows and doors, air conditioning, and duct replacement.

We are not a government agency. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or acting on behalf of any federal, state, county, or municipal government program, department, or agency. Any reference on this Site to a government program, rebate, grant, or law is provided for general information only and does not imply any affiliation.

We are not a lender, insurer, or insurance adjuster. We do not make credit decisions, we do not underwrite or adjust insurance claims, and we do not provide legal, tax, insurance, or financial advice.

3. Use of the Site

You may view and use this Site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

  • Republish, sell, rent, or sublicense material from this Site
  • Copy or duplicate material from this Site for commercial purposes
  • Use the Site for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
  • Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or extract data from the Site
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or any connected system
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the Site

We may suspend or refuse access to anyone at our discretion.

4. Intellectual Property

Unless stated otherwise, we own or license all intellectual property on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, photographs, and page design. All rights reserved. Our name and logo may not be used without our written permission.

5. Cookies

This Site uses cookies and similar technologies. By using the Site, you consent to their use as described in our Privacy Policy. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect how parts of the Site work.

6. Information You Submit

When you submit a form on this Site, you confirm that:

  • The information you provide is accurate and complete
  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You are the owner or authorized user of any phone number or email address you provide
  • You own the property you identify, or you are authorized to make decisions about it

Please do not submit sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or health information through this Site.

7. No Guarantee of Eligibility, Pricing, Savings, or Approval

Content on this Site is general information only. Submitting a form does not create a contract and does not guarantee that you will qualify for any program, product, service, price, financing, or rebate.

We do not guarantee insurance premium reductions, energy savings, financing approval, rebate eligibility, permit approval, or any other specific result. Any numbers, ranges, or examples shown are illustrative. Actual outcomes depend on your home, your insurer, your lender, your local jurisdiction, and applicable law, and they vary.

Any pricing discussed before an on-site inspection is preliminary and subject to change. A binding price and scope of work exist only in a signed written agreement.

Financing, where available, is provided by independent third-party lenders. We are not the lender. Approval, interest rates, and terms are determined solely by the lender under its own criteria, and the lender’s own agreements and privacy practices apply.

8. Scheduling and Appointments

Requesting an assessment is a request, not a confirmed appointment. Appointments are confirmed by us directly. We may reschedule or cancel where necessary, including for weather, permitting, supply, or safety reasons.

9. SMS / Text Messaging Terms of Service

This section governs the Hurricane Safety Program text messaging program.

9.1 Program Description

By providing your mobile number and agreeing to receive text messages, you consent to receive SMS and MMS messages from Hurricane Safety Program. Depending on the consent you give, these may include:

  • Appointment scheduling, confirmations, and reminders
  • Inspection, permit, and installation status updates
  • Document, agreement, and signature requests
  • Replies and two-way conversation with a member of our team
  • Where you have separately agreed to it: promotional offers, pricing, and information about home upgrade programs

9.2 Consent Is Not a Condition of Purchase

You are not required to agree to receive marketing or promotional text messages in order to buy any product or service from us. Marketing consent is optional, and you can withdraw it at any time.

9.3 Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on how you interact with us and the status of your project.

9.4 Cost

Message and data rates may apply. These charges come from your mobile carrier, not from us. Contact your carrier for the details of your plan.

9.5 How to Opt Out

Reply STOP to any text message from us to cancel at any time.

After you reply STOP, we will send one confirmation message and will not send you further messages from that program. To rejoin, reply START or sign up again on our website.

9.6 How to Get Help

Reply HELP to any message for assistance.

You can also reach us at (888) 369-4536 or help@hurricanesafetyprogram.org during regular business hours.

9.7 Carrier Liability

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on transmission by your mobile carrier and by third-party service providers, and is not guaranteed.

9.8 Supported Carriers

Message service may not be available on all mobile carriers, and carrier participation can change at any time without notice.

9.9 Your Mobile Information

Your mobile number and your consent to receive text messages are handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile information or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

9.10 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and must be the owner or authorized user of the mobile number you provide. Do not enroll a number that is not yours.

9.11 Changes to Your Number

If you change or give up your mobile number, please tell us. You agree to let us know so we do not send messages to someone who did not consent.

9.12 Changes to These SMS Terms

We may update these SMS Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted here. Continuing in the program after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Linking to This Site

Government agencies, search engines, news organizations, online directory distributors, and accredited businesses may link to our Site without prior approval, provided the link is not deceptive, does not falsely suggest sponsorship or endorsement, and fits the context of the linking site.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of this Site.

These limits apply to liability arising in contract, in tort, and for breach of statutory duty. This section governs your use of the Site and does not limit any rights you may have under a signed written agreement for services.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, or expense, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your misuse of this Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

16. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of this Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

17. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, that part will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the rest will remain in full force.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. The Effective Date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
